Walter Klimczuk died Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 88.
Born in Poland to the late Wasyly and Tatiana (Sokolowska) Klimczuk, he lived in East Orange before moving to North Brunswick 59 years ago. He was an electronic technician for RCA Corporation in Somerville for many years before retiring in 1997. Prior to that he had worked for Westinghouse and after retirement he worked for the Middlesex County Road Department.
Mr. Klimczuk belonged to the Eastern Orthodox Church.
Surviving are his wife Lidia (Krawczuk) Klimczuk; three daughters – Lydia Larney and her husband Thomas of Lacey Township, Ellen Klimczuk of Hamilton and Christine Klimczuk and her husband Borislav "Bob" Odzakovic of North Brunswick; his son William Klimczuk of Hamilton; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, July 25, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick.
