Miriam May (Jolly) Katko died Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge. She was 94.
Born in the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick to the late Abraham Lincoln and Margaret (Kirby) Jolly, she lived in North Brunswick for over 55 years. She was a licensed practical nurse at Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset for 10 years before retiring. Prior to that she worked at Roosevelt Hospital and as a private duty nurse.
Mrs. Katko was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dayton.
She was predeceased by her husband Theodore Katko, Sr. in 2012; and her brothers and sisters – Abraham Jolly, Furman Jolly, Lillian Bifulco, Rose Christensen, John Jolly and Dorothy Katko. Surviving are her daughter – Gladys "Teddi" Logan of Cape Coral, Florida; two sons – Theodore Katko, Jr. of Burlington and Ronald Katko and his wife Debra of Monmouth Junction; a sister – Betty Bradley of Piscataway; five grandchildren – Lisa Rapf, Theodore Katko, III, April Perez, Kelly Nash and Ronald Katko, Jr.; and eight great grandchildren – Shawn, Tyler, Karley, Riley, Haley, Thomas, Lily and Lumen.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Dayton, 362 Georges Road, Dayton. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
