Carmen J. Mondi passed away peacefully Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center at Hillsborough. He was 76.
Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Samuel and Ruth (Zanghi) Mondi he moved to North Brunswick 50 years ago. He was a biological laboratory technician at Bristol Myers Squibb in Lawrenceville for 40 years before retiring in 2005.
Mr. Mondi was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick. He served in the United States Navy during the early 1960s. He loved classic cars and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He most enjoyed traveling to the beach and Walt Disney World with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years JoAnn Mondi; his daughter Carri Marotto and her husband Patrick of Kendall Park; his son Mark Mondi and his wife Cathy of Kendall Park; and two grandchildren – Stephanie Marotto and Nathaniel Mondi.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:45 AM Tuesday from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace in North Brunswick.
