Donald H. Calhoun died Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 65.
Born in Jersey City to the late George G. and Elsie (Neumann) Calhoun, he lived in Jersey City before moving to North Brunswick 36 years ago. He was a truck driver for 45 years, most recently with FedEx Freight in Monmouth Junction for over 22 years.
In his time off, Don enjoyed helping friends and family with home improvements. He liked watching TV, especially football, Nascar and Storage Wars.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother George Calhoun. Surviving are his wife Jolaine (Kutasi) Calhoun; his daughter Kaitlyn Calhoun-Smith and her husband Justin Smith of North Brunswick; and two sons – Kristian Calhoun of Downingtown, Pennsylvania and Brandan Calhoun of North Brunswick.
Cremation was private. A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation at www.curemeso.org.
