Dear Maria and Anna:
How sorry and heartbroken we are for your loss. It is said that "death leaves a heartbreak that no one can heal, love leaves a memory that no one can steal". On the law enforcement memorial, a quote refers to how it is not how we died that leaves our mark on society, but how we lived; Mac did that, both how he lived, how he fought, and how he left his mark on people, both externally and internally. He will be missed and our world is a more solemn place without his presence and radiance.
