"Who cares if one more light goes out?
In a sky of a million stars,
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out?
If a moment is all we are
We're quicker, quicker
Who care if one more light goes out?
Well I do."

Patricia,
I am heartbroken for your loss; Pete was an incredibly strong and strong willed man with great determination. He will be missed but never forgotten. I was such an honor to have been a part of his journey.

Patty, I can’t tell you how sorry I am to learn of Pete’s passing. As a young student at Rutgers back in the late 80s, Pete’s friendship meant more to me than I can say. Some of my fondest memories of those years involve Pete. He has never been far from my thoughts, and I know how much you meant to each other. I’m devastated for you, and hope you can find peace and joy in your memories of a lifetime together.

My sincere condolences to Patty, family and friends. Patty and Pete were North Brunswick neighbors with me for only a few short years, but the friendship continued no matter where our residents moved to. I remember winters, Pete snowblowing not only driveways of others but also the sidewalk around neighboring houses. Always helping out. I also remember when Pete picked up Patty and I from a New Brunswick State Theater show in a squad car, my first (and only) ride in a police vehicle.
Patty and Pete are the most genuine caring people one could only be lucky enough to have as friends.
Rest in Peace Pete. Big hugs Patty.

How do you begin to talk about Pete. I met Pete while working an off duty job in his neighborhood in Florida. Pete of course bribed me with his wife’s cooking and the friendship was on from there. I have worked as a deputy in central Florida for thirty years and have rarely met someone with the character and honor this man has. There were 15 plus deputies that worked at different times in Pete’s neighborhood while it was under construction and every deputy knew Pete and patty before that detail ended. Pete and patty quickly became part of the family and through many outings to Disney and thanksgiving dinners you realize you were witnessing one of the greatest examples of marriage anywhere. Around our house you can’t even say just one of their names it’s always Pete and patty. I will miss the two minute phone calls from pete that would actually last hours. He was genuine and cared about everyone over himself. There’s no possible way to describe how incredible pete and patty are and how pete touched not only my life but also my family and friends. Rest In Peace my friend.

Our prayers and deepest sympathy for Patty and her family. We have known Pete and Patty for almost five years. We could not imagine better next-door neighbors; we consider them an extension of our family. Petes pride and generosity as a police officer continued to define him in retirement, as a homeowner at Royal Cypress, and as a friend. We will miss you always Pete.

Pete and Patty have been our neighbors for six years and we became fast friends. Peter was always willing to lend a helping hand or speak a kind word. I’ll never forget him outside their home blowing the driveway and all the surrounding area to help clean it up. Pete was gracious and kind he was so generous and helpful. Together Pete and Patty created a special place for all to visit when taking a walk or just passing by. Always so welcoming. May God comfort you patty during this most difficult time I know Peter is watching over you and I know Gods grace will be covering you. We will be praying for you and will look forward to your return home Rick and sherri
