I would like to extend my sympathies to the family. I volunteered with Nikki at St. Peter's. Nikki, Sam, Virginia and I had lunch together whenever we volunteered. She was a very sweet, kind woman who loved everyone. She spoke highly about her family & the things they did for her. The world lost one of its good people.

A posthumous letter to Nicolette (Nikki Furnari) Bonanne. From Marilyn (Mickey McCarthy) Azzarita via/and husband Nicholas (Azzie) Azzarita as one. On behalf of Mickey and myself we say Godspeed to a beautiful and loyal friend of many years. In our youth we shared our lives with you and your mom and sister Mary. Your Mom was a second mom to both of us. Mickey and I often shared memories of you during our younger day in New Brunswick. As we grew older, got married, moved and raised our families, time and distance took it’s toll. Yet over those many years Christmas kept us together as we sent cards and wrote and caught up on time. Distance separated us; but closed on too few occasions. Yet we cherished every visit we were able to share with you, Butch and mom Furnari and family. Mickey departed her 88 years on this earth Jun 9th this year; the day of our 65th wedding anniversary. She decided it was a proper day to join her Mom , Dad and two brothers. Time and distance are now one. My prayer is that you will find each other once again and reminisce of the good days we spent growing up together. To your devoted and loving family our most sincere condolences. As Always. Mickey & Nick

Aunt Nikki was such a wonderful woman. She was so kind to all the people she met and loved her family more than anything. She gave all of us and our children so many lasting memories of Christmas Eve. She and Uncle Butchie welcomed 50 or more relatives to their home every Christmas Eve for years. I can still see my son and all the children hitting the piñatas she provided for them to play with at our celebrations. Thanks Aunt Nikki for all the special memories. We were truly blessed to have you in our lives. God bless you.
