I first met your beloved Aunt when I began teaching at Linwood "Jr. High" School in 1967, when Mrs. Clinton was the principal's secretary and an invaluable help to a novice like me. She continued to be a valued assistant to me when I returned to teaching at "Linwood Middle School" in 1984, after I was away from teaching while raising my two children. By this time, or at least soon after, Mrs. Doris Clinton who had been working elsewhere in the District, returned to Linwood! By the time I retired from teaching in 2010, dear Doris was the secretary for the Child Study Team and was as helpful and efficient and as professional then as first time we met. She was sweet and kind and always efficient. She was the epitome of a professional secretary! I have often thought of her and thought she would always be at her desk if I ever I would have the chance to stop by to visit, but I know she missed her beloved husband very much and must certainly have needed to receive her well-deserved rest. May her soul rest peacefully and may it be bound up with all the other righteous souls in Heaven and may she somehow know how much she will be missed at her post in Linwood.
