Obituary of Anna Theresa Gromek

Anna Theresa "Terry" Gromek died Sunday, December 18, 2022, surrounded by family at her home in North Brunswick. She was 91. Born in Jersey City to the late Henry and Katherine (Krupa) Mulicki, she lived in Union before moving to North Brunswick 50 years ago. She was a school bus driver for Ryder Student Transportation for over 20 years before retiring in 1995. Mrs. Gromek was a communicant of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Kendall Park. Surviving are her husband Chester R. Gromek; Her children – Gregory Gromek and his wife Maribeth of Amelia, Ohio, Christine Gromek and her partner Maureen Muller-Kahle of Hampton, Virginia, Andrew Gromek of North Brunswick, Catherine Gromek of Alexandria, Virginia and Elizabeth Gromek of North Brunswick; three grandchildren – Emma Gromek, Mary Abigail Gromek and Annika Gromek; and her great grandson Kolton Gromek. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:00 AM Thursday, December 29, 2022, from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church in Kendall Park. Burial will follow in Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
