Bucky was a good man. The last time we talked was at the reunion, a lot has happened since then. An easy-going person who made friends wherever he went. He will be missed by all he knew. My condolences to Irene and the family.

I was fortunate to meet Bucky in Kindergarten at Parsons School when we were only 5 years old. I became a charter member of the infamous “Bucky’s Gang” that terrorized the playground for many years. We played baseball against each other in the Babbage Park summer league and all I remember is striking out against his incredible fastball. Many of us continued together thru Parsons, Linwood and finally NBHS. It has been my honor to call him a life-long friend for more than 70 years. My deepest condolences about his passing for the entire Pollard family. Jim Segal

I first met Bucky in 5th grade at Linwood School and we became friends and continued school together right thru high school, graduating from NBHS in 1964. We looked upon him as the leader of our North Brunswick friends as he always was supportive of all of us. We would catch up with each other at the various school gatherings we had through the years. Rest in peace with our dear Lord my friend and may your family find peace as they grieve your loss.

My condolences to Irene and the family of Bucky on their loss. I have known Bucky since we attended Parsons, Linwood and New Brunswick HS together. He was always the biggest kid on the block when we were young and played games 'till the street lights went on. I will always remember him as the big kid with the most gentle soul. may his memory always be a blessing to all. Rest in eternal peace Bucky!

There really are no words to describe the loss of such a fine person, taken far too early. I had many a great time at all the baseball games we enjoyed together, I will forever be thankful for the privilege of knowing such a person. You will be sincerely missed. RIP SIR Bucky. Utmost condolences to the entire Pollard family.

I first met Bucky when his son Dan joined a local baseball team that I was part of. I had no idea that both Dan and Bucky would become an important part of my life through the next 18 summers of baseball. Bucky rarely missed a game and was a constant fixture in the stands. More importantly I got to know Bucky the person through many hours of talking over a few beers. I can't possibly say how much I will miss him. His presence always shone a light over all who were near. We will miss you Bucky.

I am at a lost for words on the passing of Bucky. I will miss his sarcasm and his teasing me. The last time I was with Bucky was on Saturday 12/17 when the temps were like 15 degrees and my back door locks were frozen. Bucky and I hooked up two extension cords from his garage, across the driveway to my back door and using a hair blow dryer to unfreeze my locks. It was comical to say the least. The girls will miss watching you from the window. My sincere condolences to Irene and family during this difficult time. RIP my dear friend!

In our much lateryears we followed each other on Facebook.
My take away from that was how much he loved his wife and family
