Obituary of Colleen A. Larkin
East Brunswick
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Colleen A. Larkin on March 1, 2023. Born October 28, 1989, Colleen was 33 years old. Colleen was a beautiful gentle soul, known for her kind ways and respect for all living things. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed the outdoors. She was a talented artist and a music lover. Colleen had many lifelong friends and a large work family, and was completely adored by all who knew her.
Colleen lived her life in North Brunswick, and graduated from North Brunswick Township High School. Colleen’s home away from home was the Colonial Diner in East Brunswick where she worked as a hostess, waitress and manager for over 10 years.
In Colleen's final hours she wanted to continue to help others by donating her organs via the NJ Sharing Network.
Surviving are her mother - Janice A. (Reber) Larkin and her husband John J. Calandruccio of East Brunswick; her father - Kevin P. Larkin and his wife Patricia Dalgarno of Manasquan; her brother - Matthew Larkin and his partner Theresa Holzheimer of Milltown; stepsisters and stepbrother – Julia, Gianna and Jack Calandruccio, all of Monroe Township; her maternal grandmother – Janet Reber of Point Pleasant; her paternal grandfather – James Larkin of Point Pleasant; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:45 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Brunswick. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to NJ Sharing Network at https://www.njsharingnetwork.org
