Frederick J. Tormino died Saturday, November 29, 2008, at The Gardens at Monroe Township. He was 70.
Born in New Brunswick he lived there before moving to North Brunswick over 60 years ago. He had served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962.
Mr. Tormino had worked at Triangle Conduit and Cable Company in New Brunswick for many years before his retirement. He was also a gemologist and a patron of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Marie Dicke Tormino and by his brother Anthony. Surviving are several cousins.
Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Wednesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the NJ Symphony Orchestra, 60 Park Place, 9th Floor, Newark, NJ 07102.
